Hi all and welcome to the Planet CCRMA list! First post, hope
it works :-)

Anyway, there's a new version of the low latency kernel
available, it includes 2.4.19 final, capabilities (as before),
the 2.4.18-pre10 low latency patch and the 2.4.19-rc5-3
preemptible kernel patch. I have downloaded and built rpms for
a newer alsa sound driver as well, CVS from 2002-08-04.

To upgrade:
  apt-get update
  apt-get install alsa-driver-2.4.19-1.ll alsa-driver alsa-utils alsa-tools

or if you are using an SMP kernel:
  apt-get update
  apt-get install alsa-driver-2.4.19-1.llsmp alsa-driver alsa-utils alsa-tools

This should update alsa and pull the new kernel in. Don't
forget to edit grub.conf if you want to make this kernel the
default.

SpiralSynthModular is now available in the repository, a nice
modular "patch programmable" synthesizer, fun to play with.
Install it by typing:

  apt-get install SpiralSynthModular

If you want to keep everything up to date (including the
latest from RedHat) do an "apt-get dist-upgrade" as well.
