[PlanetCCRMA] how to become a mirror

hi!

i interest in experiment with PlanetCCRMA, but i have dificulties to
obtain the package in one way, so i want to mirror all planet packages.
problem is Planet packages use http to retrieve, this is not good for me.
is there a way to obtain those packages via ftp? rsync?
btw, is it OK to mirror things from Planet site?
