I just go away for a couple of days and I come back to find more great stuff 
and updates. Amazed I am!
On Swami, I had it working with iiwusynth, but now have the same problem since 
updated iiwusynth. It starts the interface but doesn't seem to connect to the 
synth. I used CVS then, but it didn't solve it. Maybe tonight I'll get around 
to mail the swami developer Josh.

Still, you're the best.
