I would strongly suggest filing a bug report on the Alsa site. This way 
it gets entered into their system and gets tracked over time. Individual 
emails tend to get lost.

You may find that there are other users out there that have the same 
problem or even better have a solution.

Try going here for filing the report:

https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/main_page.php

and then view, and if necessary, report your bug. The system works 
pretty well.
