No joy. I did have the 'everyone except fc2' version of apt.conf so I changed it, updated
and got the same thing again.

The line BTW is:

  Allow-Duplicated { "^kernel(-(BOOT|smp|bigmem|debug|doc|source.*)|)$"; "^gpg-pubkey$" };

So there is no kernel-module specified. I tried adding module| before BOOT but
no change, ditto for adding module.*

I _can_ work around it (so please prioritize your time accordingly ;-).
I do appreciate the help.
