Hi again to be more specific here is the error I get in resound. dd just hangs. Static AsoundRecorder* AsoundRecorder::CreateInitializedSoundRecorder(CSound*) -No audio input method could be initialized could you tell me how to record with arecord so I could try from there? I can't figure out how to do it from the man page. Thanks Aaron
