dear lord help me -
it's not working again ... i have no idea why ... "no jukeboxes found on
usb bus" ... i've tried changing permissions again on that
nomad.usermap, but nope - it can't have been the issue.
fernando, i did an strace, but there's TONS of stuff - and i don't think
it would ever end if i didn't ctr+c it ... there's a couple of lines
that seem to cycle over eventually though:

i was just looking at the strace help - do you want me to pin it down to when it makes it's first syscall (i think that's what i mean ...)
