Hi Fernando

Thanks for the tips! When I follow the steps, everything looks OK but 
still no sound.

The only thing that I'm not sure whether its right or not is that the 
capture screen of alsamixer has no levels - everything else looks OK - I 
presume its probably meant to look this way

I'll look more closely at it on the weekend
