I cannot even begin to speak for Fernando as he speaks too many
languages so fluently and I speak so few. That said I can tell you
that Fernando is working very hard on a 2.6.14-rt kernel. There are
currently issues with the accuracy of timing when using Jack on  a
newer RT kernel. The issues are far, far above my pay grade (and
knowledge level) but I can tell you that the kernel developers,
Fernando and some of the Alsa folks are looking into it and working
hard.

I suspect that like one famous wine company Fernando will release no
kernel before its time... ;-)
