[PlanetCCRMA] nVidia video drivers

I'm running FC4 CCRMA with the 2.6.14-0.10.rrt kernel and I just 
upgraded to a socket 939 board with GeForce 6100 onboard video. I just 
installed the nVidia display drivers and now I'm having X trouble every 
few times I boot.

Just as the boot process hits runlevel 5 it displays some pixely stuff 
and then either (1)  splashes the nVidia logo and boots just fine or (2) 
hangs with a black screen, requiring a hard shutdown.

When I do get into KDE (about once every three boots; I have no idea why 
it decides to work) my system-config-display hardware tab reports VESA 
drivers installed.

If anyone can give pointers on how to troubleshoot this, I would love it!
