[PlanetCCRMA] (OT) Laptop audio?

Hi all,
Now that I have my Planet CCRMA up and fully functional, I would like to know if anyone has recommendations for laptop audio that works well with Planet CCRMA, JACK, ZynAddSubFX,  and Hydrogen Drums. I know there is the "Great Debate (tm)" of Firewire vs USB, but my concern here really is "What works well with Linux". I have a laptop that I triple boot (Vista, XP Pro and Fedora Core 9 / Planet CCRMA), so I will be using it with XP Pro and Fedora.
