You can find the docs for CentOS itself on their website:

http://www.centos.org/docs/5/
http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/5.2/Installation_Guide/

As for Planet CCRMA, installing on CentOS can be a little rough at the
moment. First, install the planetccrma-repo package:

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/centos/linux/planetccrma/5/i386/planetccrma-repo-1.1-1.el5.ccrma.noarch.rpm

This will bring in the yum config for the Planet CCRMA repo. Then you
will miss the planetccrma-apps package which is supposed to bring most
of the repo as dependencies. You should be able to use the one from
Fedora 8:

http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux/planetccrma/8/i386/planetccrma-apps-2007.11.22-1.fc8.ccrma.i386.rpm
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/mirror/fedora/linux/planetccrma/8/x86_64/planetccrma-apps-2007.11.22-1.fc8.ccrma.x86_64.rpm

Download the one which matches your architecture and "yum install" it,
and you should get a working Planet CCRMA system. If it does not
install cleanly, please let me know; as far as I know it has been only
lightly tested on my systems.

Regards,
