[PlanetCCRMA] ooops - no network

I just updated my system after a few months and I have a problem:
When I use the rt kernel 2.6.33.13-149.rt31.2.fc14.ccrma.i686.rtPAE The
wireless network doesn't work (device not active). It did work untill the
update and there were some network related updates among the long list of
packages (iwl-1000 network-manager perhaps more).
The wireless network is ok with an earlier rt kernel
2.6.33.7-149.rt30.1.fc14.ccrma.i686.rtPAE
As well as with the normal fedora kernel 2.6.35.10-74.fc14.i686

I'm running ffado for firewire kernel, which didn't use to work without the
ccrma adapted kernel (or did I get that wrong?).
Any ideas how I restore network on th newer rt kernel?
I'm running FC14 on a lenovo T400 if that is of any help.

I presume it's not likely there will be a bugfix since FC15 & 16 are coming
to ruin everything...
thanks
Oded
