Yeah! Midi in working (and working well!) with latest rt kernel. This was the trick:<br><br>put in /etc/modprobe.conf:<br>options snd-emu10k1 extin=0x3fcf extout=0x1fcf enable_ir=1<br><br>Found this gem of information on an Audigy setup guide for FC4. Not sure which part of that line did it (will investigate tomorrow). The setup guide was focused on getting the infrared sensor to work. I guess it's tied to the midi input somehow. Weird.<br>

the alsa-devel list, it might be a known problem with your particular<br>
hardware. What is your card kernel driver?
