Thanks Ken,<br><br>Well, this is linux - <i>in theory</i> it can solve world poverty if you build a big enough Beowulf cluster...<br><br>I'm hoping somewhere out there in Planetland has actually succeeded in practice and has tips for reducing the pain, of which I'm certain there is some. At the moment I can't really spare another weekend experimenting just to discover the theory has not yet reached the implementation phase!<br>

Well, I haven't done it yet, but I just got my hands on a ThinkPad with the ATI Mobility Radeon X300 card and have recently installed FC10 on it. The only thing I know so far is that there is an ATI proprietary driver that claims to support dual monitors:<br>

So in theory if you switch from the free driver to the proprietary driver it should work.<br>
