[Stk] LentpitShift won't work on device

Using the code from http://arivibes.com/realtime-audio-on-ios-tutorial-making-a-mandolin/, I can get a LentPitShift effect to work fine on the simulator, but on the device using this effect causes the audio to fail. Any ideas on what may be causing this/how I can fix it?
