It's not working for me...

[root@hendrix lucio]# apt-get dist-upgrade

The following packages have been kept back
  alsa-driver
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly
installed, 0 removed and 1 not upgraded.

[root@hendrix lucio]# apt-get install
alsa-driver

Some packages could not be installed.
This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or
if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required
packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single
operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable
and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to
resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet
dependencies:
  alsa-driver: Depends: alsa-kernel (=
0.9.2-4.1.cvs)
E: Broken packages

When i try it in synaptic it don't
works either. In the
dependency window fom alsa-driver i
got
"depends:alsa-kernel-smp-2.4.20-4.ll.acpi#0.9.2-4.cvs
(= 0.9.2-4.cvs)" but my PC is a
single-processor, and it's installed
the
"alsa-kernel-2.4.20-4.ll.acpi#0.9.2-4.cvs"
