That is what it does. Other apps are not affected and the connections
are not affected. This does not happen randomly, it is triggered by an
application quitting, which is supposed to be under your control :-) And
(as Steve Harris pointed out) this was happening before anyway (for a
moment I thought I was imagining it...

Nope, not at all :-)

Yes, I personally would not jump to 9 right away. New releases always
have problems. But others can't seem to wait. Actually I'm writing this
under 9, installed fresh on an alternate second disk in my laptop. Seems
fine to me so far. BTW, _old_ releases also have problems :-)

I'm not supporting 9 yet :-) And yes, 7.2 will have to go. I think I can
(barely) do three versions, four is not an option, I just don't have the
hardware for that. And nope, Leland is not buyin' me nutin', the crisis
hit the endownment :-( I was using my laptop as the 8.0 machine, another
ccrma machine just for 7.3 rebuilds and a normal ccrma machine for 7.2
rebuilds. We're switching to 8, so the 7.3 machine will stay, my laptop
will have to do 9 and normal ccrma machines 8.
