[PlanetCCRMA] Network driver problem - RH 8.0 fails but RH 7.3 works...

Fernando!!!! You're a star!!!

(Of course, we all know that already, but hey, I gotta say it one more
time!!) You're a start! Thanks!

Cool - I now have my new PC running an 8.0 installation on the Internet.
It's running Alsa and Jack using the on-board sound chip for now, so I
can at least run stuff like alsaplayer and just use some PC speakers
until we get support for the RME HDSP 9652 working again. (Firmware
change not supported by the Planet's current Alsa driver.)

So, if I understand the problem, then there will need to be separate
kernels and Alsa drivers and all depending on whether you're using RH
7.X or RH 8.0? Will this spill over into ALL of the RPMs you supply?
Will Jack, alsaplayer, etc. all have to be compiled with 3.2.X to not
have the same sort of problems?

Anyway, thanks much. Life just got better!

Cheers,
Mark
