[PlanetCCRMA] planetccrma on my VAIO

Hi to all,

I have a Sony VAIO laptop (PCG-GRT785E) with rh9 I installed planetCCRMA on.

I never could get ALSA running on this machine (it always crashed when
playing sound) but now it´s working -- but only with the ll - kernel. The
rh-kernel causes the same trouble.

The only problem is that the ll-kernel does not have firewire support and
this is why the machine often crashes when booting. If I delete the firewire
module from modules.conf the system crashes when searching for new hardware in
the boot process.

Can anyone tell how to install a firewire patch in order to get in running ?
