Just booted with 2.6.9-rc1-bk4 patched with
voluntary-preempt-2.6.9-rc1-bk4-Q3, which I think is the same as this
latest planetccrma kernel, and the same SMP/HT issues are still there:
with softirq-preempt=1 and/or hardirq-preempt=1, my P4/HT system hangs
sooner or later if not always (as before :).

So it seems those threaded-IRQ's on SMP aren't ironed out still.

If someone would have some thoughts, whether I can do anything to debug
and test this out further, like kernel dumps or whatever (ugh!), I'd love
to help. Would need some precise hints on how to do it, doh... :)
