Hmm, my HT/SMP works find on 'standard' fedora kernels. I guess it's 
something rdt-wise that's causing the 'problem'.

For live work, yeah I wouldn't be using the HT/SMP, however for software 
development that sends the CPU to 100% frequently, it's very handy.
