That's why it doesn't have audio support. It is an audio (jack) driven
video-only player, focused on soundtrack composition/sync for videoclips.
You are supposed to provide the audio part :-) BTW, last time I checked
Rosegarden it didn't provide jack transport support, so it didn't work with
xjadeo.

xjadeo was developed in Planet/FC2, so it should be easy to package.
Requirements are a _recent_ ffmpeg (not part of the planet, IIRC, the key
feature is that it must have seeking capabilities), imlib, jack, and some
ieee1394 libs needed by ffmpeg, but I think I made a mess with the autotools
thing and people are having problems to get it built. No time to fix it ATM.

Anyway, it is an ugly piece of crap that just glues together some Real Good
Things (tm) like ffmpeg or jack transport that I managed to put together in
a couple of days because nobody else did it before and I needed it badly.
There is a lot of room for improvement, so if anyone has the skill and time,
please step in.

Feel free to contact me if you need help on building/packaging xjadeo.

But seriously, someone has to make a better solution for this.
