According to your knowledge and experience, is it safe to run programs
(Jack, ...) with realtime privileges,
- while connected to the Internet,
- while connected to a trusted LAN ?
Would it be OK to run the edge kernel (realtime preemption) in these
situations ?
I vaguely remember seeing warnings against this, but could not find relate=

information on Linux reference sites.
