[PlanetCCRMA] Dual Monitors

Are you using the ATI closed source drivers? I think they support this.

Also, there is xinerama, which I don't use but have heard helps with this stuff.

Have you checked /var/log/xorg.log.0 for error & warning messages? (OR
whatever it is called)
