[PlanetCCRMA] Hardware Opinons

I'm looking to get a multi-channel soundcard/interface that is 
well-supported under CCRMA. I currently use M-audio's Delta 44, and it 
sounds and works AWESOME, but I need more inputs--preferably balanced 
XLR--in order to record drum tracks from about 8 microphones 
simultaneously into Ardour.

I would love to hear your opinions in regards to the BEST supported card 
that will offer the BEST quality, performance, and I/O capabilities.

I'm considering the Delta 10/10 (not 10/10LT) but thought I'd check here 
before I bid.
