You're probably right - I just have to get over my engineer instinct that feels that if it's worth doing right, it's worth overkilling.

If you had seen me drooling over the quad 940 multicore capable Tyan motherboards, just dreaming - "I'll never see an xrun again," it would make things a little clearer.  Doesn't matter if it's reality or not.
