If you have the MOTU 828, there's no evidences that it is supported by ffado. The MKII is only "reported to work"(http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport/list&page=2)...

Yet, if you speak about "fedora" but does it work elsewhere?

About the package, Fernando is pretty efficient, The curent version in CCRMA is the "2.0-0.6.rc1". Almost the latest.... and I'm sure the first stable version will be in CCRMA soon (it has been released only one week ago) !

If it's not a fedora nor a CCRMA issue, you might find more help in the FFADO mailing-list 'http://www.ffado.org). Moreover they'll be glad to have your story about your device!
