[PlanetCCRMA] SuperCollider

Can someone please give me a few hints as to how to approach working in 
SuperCollider in CCRMA?  Thanks.

Questions:

1. Is there a particular version of Fedora/Centos that has 'more' of 
SuperCollider?  Does F13 have it 'all'?
2. I see snapshots, but it seems like a command line program in Fedora 
(as opposed to OS X).  I'm confused...
3. Which version should I use?  2.X, 3.X?
4. Where is the 'canonical' documentation?
