[PlanetCCRMA] Various audio clients and the RME 9632

What is the ideal setup, among the following or other clients, for using 
the RME 9632 in Fedora 14?  I have a working system using ALSA, but is 
it the best choice?

1. ALSA
2. Pulseaudio
3. OSS
4. KDE4 - phonon with gstreamer
5. KDE4 - phonon with xine
6. Other

If other than ASLA, can you please provide details on how to set it up.
