[PlanetCCRMA] OT: apt-get dist-upgrade keeps uinstalling Xine?!?

Hi!
  I realize this probably isn't something you folks did, but I'm stumped.
I was running RedHat 9 when I installed PlanetCCRMA and apt-get. I have
since upgraded the machine to Fedora Core 1. I happen to like Xine, and
it's getting on my nerves now that every time I run "apt-get
dist-upgrade", Xine gets uninstalled and I have to go back and
re-install it manually.
  Two questions: anybody know why this is happening? And, how do I stop it?
